If there is one thing that has gone under-the-radar at Liverpool, it is the success of their younger players while out on loan in the previous season.

Ryan Kent and Harry Wilson were the two standout loanees, with both looking destined to leave the club once against next season.

Both of the Reds’ starlets have attracted great interest from both England and Scotland, with Wilson imparticular turning the heads of many Premier League clubs.

Football Insider reported towards the end of May that Wilson would be allowed to leave the club amid interest from Wolves and that the Reds had placed a £25million price tag on his head.

The reputable football outlet claimed that Jurgen Klopp had given the green light for the permanent exit of the 22-year-old, who was only meant to be available on-loan after signing a new long-term contract before the start of last season.

As the transfer window continues, it seems that Anfield representatives are itching to conclude a deal for Wilson, who has failed to force his way into Klopp’s first team plans.

Newspaper journalist Alan Nixon revealed on his personal Twitter account that Liverpool would now be interested in loaning Wilson out once again and that any permanent deal would now only cost £15million.

Despite graduating through the club’s academy, the Welsh international has failed to make a single competitive senior appearance for the club.

It seems as if the club are desperate to clear their books, with Wilson now 22-years-old, his chances are getting slimmer as each season passes by at Anfield.
