Fulham hope that Liverpool will be made to pay a tribunal fee of more than £10million for new signing Harvey Elliott, according to the Evening Standard.

The newspaper claim on their website that the Championship side wants a compensation package that includes an up-front payment and a percentage of any possible future profit made by the Reds.

The Evening Standard report that Fulham are pushing for a deal that will exceed the record fee for a tribunal, which Liverpool were also involved in – paying a total of £8million plus 20% of any profit to Burnley for Danny Ings in 2015.

Elliott, the Premier League’s youngest-ever player at 16-years-old, made his Reds debut on Sunday in their friendly defeat against Napoli.

It comes as no surprise that Fulham are unhappy with how this deal has played out so far, hence their hopes to receive more than £10million for the 16-year-old. Elliott left the Londoners after turning down a scholarship at the club and completed his move to Anfield despite the two clubs not coming to an agreement for the financial side of any deal. The midfield sensation is admired by Klopp, who admitted the best thing for him right now is to get game time and is excited to work with him next season as Liverpool look to claim their first-ever Premier League title. After Liverpool were made to pay £8million to Burnley for Ings, it would come as no surprise if the fee paid for Elliott matches or even goes above that fee, with the youngster destined for a big future in the top-flight. Elliott only featured for 18 minutes for Fulham last season, and made his breakthrough for the England under-17’s last season, featuring five times and scoring twice.
