Jurgen Klopp has found the perfect blend of professionalism and humour to create the ultimate family feeling at Liverpool since he arrived at Anfield.

The Reds’ squad is in the best place it has been in for years, with young players such as Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent returning from loan spells ready to challenge for first-team football next season.

Klopp has endured a quiet transfer window so far, with no massive moves yet to be confirmed by Liverpool after their Champions League triumph.

There haven’t been many departures either on top of that, with the German no doubt being delighted with his squad in the past couple of seasons.

That could mean for players such as Kent and Wilson, chances could be very limited and they could be very frustrated or even move on for more opportunities to play.

Newcastle have been reported by Football Insider to be interested in a loan or even a permanent deal for the 22-year-old, with Aston Villa also preparing an offer.

The Mirror reported on Saturday that Klopp had made a promise to Wilson that he will be given first-team football next season – something that is surely a massive risk with the players ahead of him in the squad.

Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane scored more goals combined than 13 entire Premier League sides last season, with Wilson having starred in the Championship.

There is no doubting the talent that Wilson holds, having been Derby County’s top scorer with 18 goals last season, 16 of those coming in the Championship, on top of four assists.

The Welsh international no doubt holds the talent, but Klopp is surely playing with fire by making this promise to him, with the Reds’ front-three surely further cementing their place in the squad next season, as he may not be able to keep his word.
