Liverpool have taken a steady approach to their transfer window so far, with the only two arrivals being youngsters in Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg. Jurgen Klopp will not be spending as much money as previous years, with the German surely happy with his squad after their recent Champions League success, which saw him lift his first trophy at the Reds. Despite the fact that Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane outscored 13 Premier League sides last season, Liverpool have still been reported by Calciomercato to be interested in Bordeaux forward Francois Kamano, with the Reds suggested to be preparing a £13.4million offer for the Guinea international. Kamano scored 10 goals and added a single assist in France, and averaged 2.2 shots per game on top of 0.9 key passes [WhoScored] – stats which prove the 23-year-old would need to improve his efficiency in front of goal if he was to excel at Anfield. That didn’t get Liverpool fans too down though, and they took to Twitter to share their joy over the report, with one fan even comparing the forward to Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
