Gary Neville is adamant that Mohamed Salah will quit Liverpool in the next year.

Salah, 27, has transformed himself into one of the best players in world football since Jurgen Klopp signed him from Roma in 2017, scoring 72 goals in 106 appearances across all competitions for the Merseyside club and winning a Champions League title in the procss.

However Sky Sports pundit Neville believes that the Egyptian forward will soon end his association with Liverpool, claiming that he can it is something that’s nailed on to happen.

“Liverpool, Salah’s going to leave in the next 12 months, I can see it already,” Neville said, as shown by SkyBet’s official Twitter account.

“Salah will leave, he will, I absolutely guarantee.

“I can see it, I can feel it, you can smell it.”

OPINION

Neville’s jealous. Manchester United used to attract players like Salah when they had the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo on their books but now they are having to snap up youngsters like Daniel James from Swansea and splashing £80million on Harry Maguire, who is nowhere near as good as Virgil van Dijk. No one fears Man United anymore – everyone fears Liverpool. Salah is part of one one of the best attacking trios that the Premier League has ever seen. Him, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are absolutely brilliant and every team in the world can only wish to have three players like them up front. Jurgen Klopp has assembled a team of world-beaters, who could literally go on to become world champions when they take part in the Club World Cup later this year. Neville is only saying this about Salah because he wishes it happens, not because he truly believes it. That, or he’s just trying to wind up fellow Sky pundit Jamie Carragher.
