Mo Salah has delivered an Instagram message to Liverpool teammate Dejan Lovren.
The duo, who are firm friends off the field, were pictured together looking out over a picturesque coastline on Lovren’s personal account.
The big Croatian captioned it: “The sun always shines after the storm.”

Salah then replied with the comment: “But in your head there is always a storm”.

Bit of a strange interaction, this one, but it’s nice to top see the two Liverpool lads getting along so well. Their’s is a proper friendship, built on winding each other up and getting one over on the other whenever they can. It’s sometimes easy to forget that footballers are ultimately just a group of guys who spend the vast majority of their time in each other’s company, and having a harmonious dressing room with proper mates is key to success on the field too. There’s been a lot of talk about Lovren leaving this summer, and while that looks like an ever decreasing possibility, you have to wonder what sort of effect his departure would have had on Salah’s morale. Jurgen Klopp has completely understood the fact that a team is far more than just the 11 players who walk out on a Saturday afternoon, and because of that, the Reds are in a much better position than they have been for years.
