Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has taken to Instagram to poke fun at Kop teammate Jordan Henderson.
The duo are currently on international duty with England, and Henderson took to social media to post a photo of him and the young full-back being put through their paces for the Three Lions.

Replying to the photograph, Alexander-Arnold said: “Keep up will ya?”

Trent has done Henderson here, but while the Liverpool skipper may not be the quickest off the mark, he is showing this season that he has plenty more to offer to a side. The Reds’ captain has built a strong relationship with Gini Wijnaldum and Fabinho in the centre of the park, and is averaging 1.1 shots on goal and 0.7 key passes per 90 minutes in the Premier League, occupying a more advanced role, as per Whoscored. He is still putting in the hard yards defensively, however, and so far he has managed two tackles and been dribbled past just once per game. All the while he has maintained a pass completion rate of 79.6%, and he is increasingly showing in his new number eight role that he is the ideal box to box midfielder. He may not be the most naturally athletic, and his finishing could use some adjustment, but his effort levels more than make up for it. Henderson is set for another excellent season.
