A section of Liverpool fans have urged the club to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland after the Norwegian international scored against them on Wednesday night. Haaland, 19, has been in sensational form in the early stages of this season for the Austrian giants, scoring 18 goals in 11 appearances across all competitions. He has netted four hat-tricks since the new campaign kicked off with Genk, Wolfsberger, Hartberg and Parndorf all finding out what it feels like to concede a trio of goals from the big Norwegian striker. Haaland came off the bench just before the hour mark against Liverpool on Wednesday night and scored almost instantly to make the score 3-3 before the Reds eventually went on to win 4-3. Based on Haaland’s goalscoring exploits and the fact that he is only 19-years-old, who can blame these Liverpool fans for wanting to see the Leeds-born striker sign for them in the future? He clearly has a lot of talent and a big future ahead of him.
