International breaks for Liverpool fans usually consist of looking out for their big-name stars and hoping that they don’t pick up any fresh problems. That hasn’t gone well for them so far, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Jordan Henderson, and Joe Gomez having setbacks during the break. One player that has caught the eye, was the rarely-seen teenager Neco Williams who scored twice to help Wales under-19s pick up a point away from home against Russia. Despite playing at right-back, Williams proved in the Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal that he likes to get forward and add an extra threat in the final third as well as staying strong at the back. Many Liverpool fans took to Twitter to react to Williams’ outing on Saturday in Russia, with the majority ecstatic with his two goals and were left calling for him to do the exact same when he returns to Anfield after the break.
