Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to make three changes to his team for Saturday afternoon’s trip to Bournemouth.

The Reds cruised past their Merseyside rivals Everton 5-2 on Wednesday night, but the German is still expected to swap three players round for the Cherries clash.

With that said, James Milner, Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi are all likely to ruthlessly drop out despite their Wednesday heroics, with Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino possible to return.

Those will most probably be the only changes the former Borussia Dortmund boss makes for Saturday’s game, and they should be enough to secure victory.

Alisson remains suspended after his sending off against Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend, and so Adrian will almost certainly line up between the sticks once again against Eddie Howe’s team.

Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold can expect to keep his place at right back after a sensational display in the derby. On the opposite side of the defence, Andrew Robertson is sure to start as well.

Dejan Lovren produced a terrific display at Anfield, defying his critics with an all-action performance. The Croatian international is well placed to retain his starting spot alongside Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the defence.

Henderson is very likely to return in central midfield after being rested on Wednesday. He will likely take Milner’s place and partner Georginio Wijnaldum and the impressive Adam Lallana in the middle of the park.

Origi and Shaqiri were both fantastic against Marco Silva’s men, but it would be a major surprise if Salah and Firmino weren’t to return to the starting line-up on Saturday.
