Plenty of Liverpool fans have reacted positively to a report from the Liverpool Echo claiming that Dejan Lovren could leave the club this summer in a planned transfer overhaul, with the news shared on Twitter via @LFCTransferRoom.

The Liverpool Echo stated that the 30-year-old Croatian could move on after the end of this season, having been close to leaving last summer only for a proposed switch to Roma to fall through because of his demand for a €1m (£909,057) signing-on fee (as per Tuttomercatoweb, via TEAMtalk). The Liverpool Echo added that Adam Lallana will leave Anfield this year, with Divock Origi also thought to be among the potential list of departures.

Lovren has made 184 appearances for the Reds since coming to the club in 2014, scoring a famous stoppage time winner against Borussia Dortmund in a pulsating Europa League clash in 2016. However, he has endured some difficult times at Anfield, including an error-strewn display against Tottenham in a 4-1 defeat two seasons ago, while he was slammed by Andy Gray and many Reds fans for his part in the 3-0 loss at Watford last week.

These Liverpool fans on Twitter were glad to hear that the Croatian centre-back could be moved on by the club this summer, with one also calling for Origi to be sold:

Do you think Liverpool should move Lovren on in the summer or would you like to see him remain at Anfield for the foreseeable future? Comment below with your views!
