Tom Ince Match Report vs Leicester City

12th Jan – Liverpool 5 – 1 Leicester City (FA Youth Cup) – In a great team performance by Liverpool’s Under 18s, striker Lauri Dalla Valle outshone all with his 33 minute hat-trick in the first half, but Tom Ince played a very important role in the match. He played a big part in the first goal and scored the crucial third goal during the first half to give the Reds a massive victory. In the first six minutes of the match, Ince was free in the centre circle and distributed a good diagonal ball on the left wing for Michael Ngoo who put in a great cross for Dalla Valle to head into the top corner of the net to put the Reds 1-0 up. After the Finnish striker put Liverpool into a 2-0 lead eight minutes later, Ince added a third after running through the Leicester defence and shooting low past keeper Robert Ambrusics.
