LFC Youth Watch – David Amoo Match Report vs Wigan

17th Mar – Liverpool 2 – 0 Wigan (Lancashire Senior Cup) – David Amoo started as Liverpool reserves beat Wigan 2-0 to reach the final of the Lancashire Senior Cup. The win leaves John McMahon’s side with a chance of the treble with the league and two cups, and with current form seeing the Reserves win 12 of their last 13 games, there is every possibility that they will succeed in their ambitions. Amoo was on the end of some physical play from the Wigan defence during the match and it may have affected his abilities to make his trademark mazy runs from the right hand side, but he still contributed to another good team performance. Striker Lauri Dalla Valle and Dani Pacheco were on the scoresheet in the second half and the Reserves will want to keep up their current good vein of form in the coming weeks.
