23rd Feb – Tranmere 0 – 2 Huddersfield (League One) – Lee Novak’s hot streak in front of goal continued as he scored both goals in Huddersfield 2-0 win over Tranmere. Such performances from Novak will surely make Nathan Eccleston question whether he will get another start during his time on loan at the Galpharm Stadium and at the moment he will have to be content with a place on the bench. The two goals took Novak’s tally to eleven for the season, coming early in both halves. The striker’s first came after a goal line scramble from a corner saw Novak strike a shot on goal only for it to be cleared off the line by a defender. The assistant referee gave the goal and the Terriers were 1-0 up. His second came three minutes into the second half after he showed excellent individual play to keep onside and hammer the ball into the far corner of the goal.
