Skysports.com are reporting that Liverpool and Tottenham are leading the chase for giant Croatian goalkeeper Marijan Antolovic. The 6ft 5in 21 year old has been making a name for himself in the Croatian domestic league this season for HNK Cibalia after helping the club to their best ever finish of third in the top division. Antolovic has been named the league’s goalkeeper of the year after a season that saw him go 551 minutes without conceding a goal in the domestic championship. His performances have attracted a lot of attention from abroad and Sporting Director Drazen Pernar has stated that some clubs have already made their interest known:
“Some of the biggest clubs are after Antolovic, like Spurs and Liverpool. Every day we get more enquiries about him.”
The Croatian Under 21 goalkeeper certainly looks like he will be hot property this summer.
