Radio Marte in Italy is reporting that Liverpool will fight it out with Napoli to sign Tottenham winger Giovani Dos Santos in the January transfer window. According to sources in Naples, Napoli are lining up a bid for the 21 year old, who since the World Cup has featured more prominently in Harry Redknapp’s first team plans. The Mexican is still however not first choice at White Hart Lane, and according to reports in Italy, Roy Hodgson is also looking at the player as a cut price option to play on the wing. The report also suggests that Liverpool would be in pole position to land the player over Napoli as the Mexican would jump at the chance to play at Anfield.

in a word. rubbish! there is no money.
Tottenham Reject – Cheers Roy!!! it’s better not be true
better ardan turan.
Somebody needs to get through to Hodgson that he is no longer manager of Fulham. Everything he’s done (with the exception of Meireles) would indicate he hasn’t realised he’s changed jobs.
He is crap and has not done anything since coming from Barcelona! Infact I think he has got worse!!!! Please Roy leave him and Carlton Cole alone as we dont want them at our club! And remember your at LIVERPOOL and not FULHAM!!!!!!
The irony about all these rumours is IF we do get a new owner the majority of our targets will change drastically. Right now all Hodgson can do is look for deals and raise as much money as possible with sales of squad players.
does the rafa-bashers now realise the constraints that rafa has to go through in the transfer market? we can only raise this small limited resource each time and shop for expired and reject goods on special offers. so stop blaming everything on rafa about the transfer market. poulsen sucks. konchesky is a total waste of resource. joe cole is no longer at the level he used to be. so… we have to give thanks to all rafa-bashers for our predicament now.
