The People are reporting that Liverpool are pursuing Hamburg winger Jonathan Pitroipa. The Burkino Faso star is said to be available for £5million and the 24 year old can play on either wing. The player impressed Roy Hodgson during both legs of Fulham’s Europa League semi final tie against Hamburg last season and according to the paper, Liverpool scouts have been watching the progress of the player, with a view to buying him in the January transfer window. Pitroipa has played 60 league games in his two years at Hamburg, scoring 5 goals.
