LIVERPOOL summer signing Kolo Toure has admitted to the club’s official website that he is overwhelmed by the support he has had from the Anfield faithful since making the move to Liverpool, and has given the fans a message:
“I will fight for you.”
Toure, who arrived from Manchester City on a free transfer, has quickly gained the support of the fans and believes that it is this backing that he is receiving that will push him to give that extra bit more when on the pitch.
Speaking to liverpoolfc.com, the 32 year old said:
“I really enjoy it when I see them [the fans] every day. I can feel their support and I can feel they love the club. That’s great.
“Like I said when I came, it’s a big change for me to be at Liverpool Football Club and I’m really enjoying it. I really want to fight for them because when you have fans like that, it gives you extra power.
“I really want to do as well as I can for the club and for the fans as well because they are great.”
However, it is not just Toure’s solid performances for the Reds that has resulted in the adulation of the Kopites, but his obvious dedication you can see every second he steps onto the pitch for the club.

Kolo is showing the right kind of attitude and desire to do well for the club and fans, unlike a certain Uruguay striker the loyalty and passion Kolo has shown the club since he came is superb and the fans will grow to love him more.
