According to reports this morning, Liverpool are looking to add options to the attack in January and both Jamie Vardy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are apparently interesting the club at present.
Liverpool again struggled in front of goal against Southampton on Sunday, needing a half-fit Christian Benteke to score the solitary goal for the home side, whilst his team mates laboured to break through.
It has been an ongoing issue since the start of last season and Jurgen Klopp has seemingly identified this as a key area that will have to be strengthened, even as early as January.
According to the Daily Expres, Vardy is rumoured to be of interest to the Reds after a barnstorming start to his Premier League career, scoring 10 goals this season for his newly promoted side and has even seen himself linked with Real Madrid.
There is no doubting Vardy has had a great start but considering his supposed initial asking price of £15 million it’s highly unlikely Liverpool will consider the 28 year old good value for money. He may get a move to a bigger side but don’t hold your breath that it’ll be Liverpool.
As for Dortmund’s Aubameyang, French site Le10Sport, are reporting that Liverpool are keen on a move but have now been joined by PSG.
The Gabon striker has been chasing Robert Lewandowski in the Bundesliga all season, scoring a highly impressive 13 goals, as Borussia Dortmund got off to a great start.
At 26 years of age, Aubameyang is one of the hottest strikers in Europe and will no doubt have many more suitors, should he look to engineer a move. But Liverpool will hope that, should anything more solid materialise, that Jurgen Klopp being the Liverpool manager will have a big say in where he ends up going.

Klopp has said he wont buy players from Dortmund, he would not make strong statements like that. Why would Leicester city sell their star player and struggle in the league going forward, atleast not this season….
