GK/Defence
Simon Mignolet – Absolutely shocking from Mignolet and what’s more worrying is that it isn’t the first time this season that we’ve had to say that about the Belgian. A shambles for the first West Brom goal and then his bottle was gone. Looked a shadow of a goalkeeper all day long and his timidness from thereon in saw the defence all over the place with no support or organisation from their keeper. Surely Klopp has to be considering replacements? Rating – 3
Nathaniel Clyne – Did well enough defensively, and supported the attack well. But his final ball is terrible at times and his crosses from wide rarely passed the first man. Rating – 6
Martin Skrtel – Not a day where the Slovak covered himself in glory. Was fairly comfortable in general play but failed to properly organise his defence at set pieces and once Mignolet disappeared from view he couldn’t get to grips with West Brom’s height. Rating – 5
Dejan Lovren – Much like Skrtel, Lovren was all at sea from set-pieces and struggled badly. It’s clearly an area that needs new additions and much work. Unfortunate suffer what looked like a bad injury late on in the second half though. Rating – 5.5
Alberto Moreno – Looks much more dangerous in the opposition half than Clyne but still struggled to make a real impact. Did little wrong at his own end. Rating – 6
Good analysis.
Mignolet needs time out. He is a bag of nerves.
Chan is talented but very slapdash.
Benteke is an impact player. Klopp needs to show him some old Gerd Muller videos.
Firmino needs to realise he is playing for Liverpool not some second rate German team.
Get bogden in goal got to be better than minger
Liverpool lack WINGERS and creativity benteke not suitable our style of play slows down the game prefer Ings. Firmino showing glimpse of talent but not enough. As for Ibe not creative good for running. We need a decent center back like subotic, keep Lucas,Can,Henderson midfield a decent right Winger and a consistent striker.
I think you mean Origi may NOW find….
