Piotr Zielinski’s agent Bartlomiej Bolek has told Radio CRC in Italy that his client will not be joining Napoli.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has expressed his frustration in recent days about Zielinski’s lack of interest in moving to the Serie A side despite the club offering Champions League football. Bolek’s says however that there is no way Zielinski will be moving to Naples, all but confirming that the Polish international is on the verge of moving to Liverpool. He said (quotes via tuttomercatoweb):

“To be honest, there is no chance that the player can go to Napoli.”

A bid of £9.5million is said to have been made by Liverpool to Udinese for the player. It looks like the move will only be concluded after the European Championships as in the same interview, Bolek refused to comment further on Zielinski’s future, only saying the 22 year old is focused on the Euros, and that the player’s future will be resolved once his involvement in the tournament ends.
