It’s January, Reds, and that can only mean one thing – time for endless rumours and potential new signings for the weeks ahead.
Of course, rumours are there to be deciphered how you wish with some being far more plausible than others and there’s certainly set to be a great deal floating around with the Redmen challenging for the title.
Many think we need to improve our defence, and you wouldn’t argue, so expect to see defenders linked whilst with Sadio Mane going to AFCON there’s bound to be right wingers touted as the next Anfield star.
It shouldn’t just be about the ins, though, we think that the Reds could do with some pruning and replace some of the deadwood – or players not deemed needed – in this window.
