We really miss Jordan Henderson
The skipper was out of action after going off in the win against City and we certainly missed him.
He’s completed more passes than anyone else in the league this season and that ability to knit things together and add fluency to our attacks was definitely missing yesterday. Emre Can filled in and whilst he did a decent job against City for the remaining minutes he looked out of place against the Black Cats. This game just highlighted how important Henderson now is.
