According to Calciomercato in Italy, Liverpool are eyeing a move for Nadiem Amiri of Hoffenheim but face competition from Spurs for his signature.
Amiri is the latest in a long line of players to be linked with the club where the first reaction, somewhat naturally, is ‘who?’
But whereas this kind of rumour would have been frowned upon under different managers with the worry being that the club are going for risky targets, under Jurgen Klopp we seem to embrace such news.
Amiri could be the next young star to emerge under Klopp if such a deal goes through and whilst that is of course us getting ahead of ourselves, it’s how the German has changed our mindsets.
Amiri likes to play through the middle or down the left and has two goals to his name so far this season for the up and coming Bundesliga side.
