According to Calciomercato, the stalling contract situation of Lorenzo Insigne has alerted Liverpool and AC Milan ahead of a potential summer move.
When Gonzalo Higuain left Naples at the start of this season many felt that Arkadiusz Milik would be the main man to take over the goal-scoring reigns for the club.
His injury, though, has meant the likes of Insigne have needed to step and chip in – something the Italian international has certainly done.
The 25-year-old has nine goals and nine assists this season and would certainly be a hit in our attack with his raw pace and evident ability to score and create chances.
A potential move could be on the cards, then, if a contract extension is not sorted out between him and his club and so the Reds will have to keep close tabs on the situation – providing this report is correct in suggesting our interest.
