According to goal.com, the Reds are looking into the possibility of signing Naby Keita from Red Bull Leipzig in what would be a very exciting move.
The Reds are not in great form right now and for many that’s because we’ve got such a small squad.
Indeed, players like Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho who were so good at the start of the season look jaded and a shadow of their former selves suggesting more bodies are needed.
Keita, then, would be such an extra option – but he’s got plenty to bring to the table aside from being another player.
The youngster has brilliant energy to help him get around the pitch and, looking at our midfield, we lack that box-to-box type midfielder.
Indeed, he can defend and score goals and with him only set to get better as he gets older, now should be the ideal time to try and get him in.
