As quoted by The Daily Star, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has handed the Reds a boost ahead of their vital game against Watford concerning the fitness of Adam Lallana.

The game against the Hornets next Monday was obviously important in terms of our chase for the Champions League spots but things have been ramped up since the weekend.

Indeed, losing at home to Crystal Palace has meant we simply cannot afford to lose any more points and so any boost we can get ahead of the trip to Vicarage Road is going to be welcomed.

And, it appears, the former Southampton midfielder should be ready all being well.

Klopp said:

“Maybe Adam [Lallana] is coming back for the next game, which of course would help us in different situations and that’s good.”

Lallana has been one of our better players this season with him improving under our German boss more than most during his tenure.

Having him back, then, is going to be vital.
