According to The Independent, Liverpool are looking likely to lose out on Theo Hernandez with him seemingly off to Real Madrid instead.
The young French full-back has actually been on loan at Alaves this season where he has done very well and it did look at one point that he could have been our answer to our left-back issues.
Instead, though, that rumour seemed to fade away and now it looks as though the Spanish giants Real are going to get him in as a possible understudy to current left-back Marcelo.
The Reds, then, still need to get a left-back in during the summer and it really does remain to be seen as to who that is with no real front-runner for that role at the moment.
