According to RAC1 – via The Daily Star – Philippe Coutinho wants to join Barcelona and has requested that Liverpool let him leave this summer.
Though this has been a transfer story that has gone on for some time over recent seasons, it does appear as though the speculation has intensified in recent days.
Indeed, there’s a line of thought going around that the Brazilian has agreed personal terms with the Spanish side – though the Reds have maintained that they do not plan on selling him in this window.
For sure, then, we have a seriously similar situation going on as to the one involving Luis Suarez a few years ago though we are still of the impression that we will keep hold of him for now.
