It’s been a while since we’ve seen Christian Pulisic linked with us in earnest but the American has come back to prominence in recent times.
The young winger really does look set to be a star this season in the German top flight after breaking onto the scene in the last couple of years and that has naturally led us to be linked with him.
However, it’s never really looked close in terms of us signing him up and the player has revealed in a recent interview that, though he is aware of the rumours involving our club, his only focus is on the German side.
He said – as quoted by Sport Bild via goal.com:
“I am very happy in Dortmund.
“I have read about it [Liverpool interest], but what can I say about it? I am fully focused on the start of the new season.”
For sure, then, it seems as though it’ll still be some time before the player arrives at our club if, of course, he does at all.
