Luan. Remember him? The latest Brazilian attacker to be linked with the club, seemingly for quite a while now, has had his name come up in another transfer rumour – via Yahoo Sport.
Still at Gremio, he continues to score goals with eight in 12 in the latest edition Copa Libertadores and set to challenge to lead Brazil up top alongside Gabriel Jesus, Neymar and Bobby Firmino.
He’s clearly got talent, then, and the Reds have apparently entered talks to try and sign him at long last after what’s seemed like a pretty long-running rumour.
Of course, we’re still not expecting imminent news with these talks anything but advanced right now but it does look as though they are ongoing according to this report.
The Reds have got a good recent history with South American’s at the club and so, with that in mind, we’d hope Luan follows in those footsteps if he joined.
