Liverpool have the advantage following a superb 3-0 victory against Manchester City in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final showdown but know there is still work to do, ahead of tomorrow’s return clash at the Etihad Stadium.

The Reds’ advantage makes them favourites to advance to the semi-finals of Europe’s elite competition but City’s devastating attacking options mean there is a chance of a turnaround, which is why Jurgen Klopp’s latest boost will lead to beaming smiles from Liverpool fans.

German boss Klopp has stated that Mohamed Salah, who missed this weekend’s goalless Merseyside derby with Everton, could feature against the Citizens despite hobbling off during the second-half of last week’s win at Anfield.

Quoted by The Sun, Klopp suggested both Salah and full-back Andrew Robertson could return tomorrow night.

“Mo, he’s injured. I don’t think it is really serious and he can be available for Tuesday for today [Saturday] he wasn’t available.”

“It’s the same with Robbo [Andy Robertson]. As always, we are in close talks with the medical department [to find out] who is 100 per cent. And also you have to wait until the last minute, especially when you have a short break between the games.”

However, it has been confirmed that Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino will be absent for the game.
