Liverpool still have a Champions League final showdown with Real Madrid on the horizon, but soon after they will have to draw up plans for the summer transfer window.

The Reds certainly have the potential to compete for the Premier League crown in the 2018/19 campaign if they add a few more key pieces to the jigsaw.

Manager Jurgen Klopp needs to find some strength in depth to his attacking positions, where he has relied on the scintillating trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane this season.

The Merseyside club need a new wide man to crank up competition and that is why they should try re-sign AC Milan’s genius playmaker Suso.

He previously flopped at Anfield as a youngster and one of Brendan Rodgers’ biggest mistakes was not helping him to become a key first teamer.

The 24-year-old has gone away and proven he is good enough elsewhere, scoring eight goals and supplying 14 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions this season.

Liverpool should go all out to land the Spanish right-winger to help out next season and Italian news outlet Calciomercato reports that he has a £35million release close.

Suso has also made a recent revelation to support the suggestion the Reds should try sign him by claiming he does want to return to Anfield in the future.

“Premier League football is different, I would call it special: I would like to play for Liverpool again some day. I grew up there and it is a big club,” he told the Guardian.

Suso has really developed into a top talent over in Italy and the left-footed playmaker has matured into someone that is ready for a Premier League return.

He is no longer a lightweight winger that struggles in top-flight English football, but instead has filled out more and the fleet-footed attacker would perfectly slot into Klopp’s attacking formation.
