Liverpool travel to Burnley on Wednesday high on confidence after their incredible win in the Merseyside derby, and Jurgen Klopp must make four changes to his starting XI.

The Reds snatched the three points against Everton thanks to a bizarre 96th-minute winner from Divock Origi following a mistake from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Their opponents on Wednesday are enduring a torrid time this season, with Sean Dyche’s men having won just two games and nine points all term, with their most recent result being a 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

In goal, Alisson must start as normal.

In defence, Andy Robertson must be rested as a precaution amid a minor injury concern, with Alberto Moreno coming in, while Dejan Lovren must replace Joe Gomez alongside Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who both retain their places.

In midfield, Fabinho must remain in place with Gini Wijnaldum dropping out in favour of 5’8″ star Naby Keita [Transfermarkt], who gets his first start since early October, while James Milner must come in for attacker Sadio Mane as a three-man midfield returns.

In attack, Mohamed Salah, Xherdan Shaqiri and Roberto Firmino must all retain their places, while Klopp must be ready to withdraw his key players as early as possible if the result is in the bag amid a hectic schedule.

All in all this means four changes for Klopp, with this Liverpool XI easily being able to rip a below-par Burnley side to shreds on Wednesday.
