OPINION
Virgil van Dijk had a night to forget when the Netherlands lost 3-2 to Germany on Sunday night in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, but it is not a surprise to see some Liverpool fans on Twitter have given a mixed reaction to his performance. Van Dijk was part of a team that conceded three goals, but it seems that a few fans were looking at his performance through red-tinted spectacles. Yes, there were times when the ex-Southampton centre-back looked good at the back. On the whole he did a decent job of limiting Germany’s chances. However teams defend together, and he was part of a team that conceded too many goals against an international rival in a very high-stakes encounter. Van Dijk has had a very good season at Anfield but he will definitely be disappointed with the way he and his team-mates played on Sunday night at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

So just because Gnabry played a shot past VVD,the whole internet shut down.
You see ehn, when one is good, everyone wants him or her to fail,so they can have a hold of something you are not good at.
