It might have been Brazilian ace Roberto Firmino who gave Liverpool the lead over Tottenham on Sunday afternoon but it was the performance of his international teammate down the other end of the pitch which had the Reds faithful reacting on Twitter – and all for the wrong reasons. Alisson looked shaky from the first minute and that did not change for the rest of the first half, not least whenever the 26-year-old had the ball at his feet. The 26-year-old is known to be a little erratic but when you are playing a side who promise to have a big say in where the Premier League title ends up at the end of the season you want your goalkeeper to do the basics and leave any sort of risky play back in the dressing room. Alisson obviously did not get the message and as such had the supporters’ hearts in their mouths on more than one occasion in the opening 45 minutes. He is a top quality shot stopper but he has been punished for moments like these before and he might consider himself a little luck the same did not happen again.
