Jurgen Klopp is predicted to name an unchanged starting line-up for Liverpool’s clash against Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday.

The Reds return to Premier League action following the international break without any new injury concerns although Alisson Becker is still expected to miss out with an injury he sustained in the opening day win against Norwich last month.

That means that Adrian is set to yet again start in goals while England international Joe Gomez could also miss out and be forced to sit on the bench due to Joel Matip’s strong form at centre-back.

Ahead of Adrian, Klopp is predicted to start an unchanged back-four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson.

Fabinho could start at the base of a midfield trio including him, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum, who was in wonderful form in the international break by scoring late goals in each of the Netherlands’ two wins against Germany and Estonia.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all expected to keep their spots in the starting line-up to take on a Newcastle side that currently sits 14th in the Premier League standings after picking up four points in their last two matches.

Liverpool on the other hand will be looking to preserve their 100 per cent start against the Magpies, who have not won a league match at Anfield since 1994.
