Liverpool have one of the deadliest front-threes in the world right now, that is no secret. The problem comes in when you examine their squad depth, but their ability to keep up with the likes of Manchester City has been admirable. Transfer expert, Ian McGarry has revealed on the Transfer Window podcast that Liverpool have started negotiations with Red Bull Leipzig over the signing of forward Timo Werner, who is reportedly keen on making the move to Anfield to work with Jurgen Klopp. The German international would be a great signing for Liverpool, and Klopp should use his status to pull off a potential masterclass for the prolific 23-year-old. Werner has scored eight goals already this season in all competitions and averages 3.6 shots on goal per game according to WhoScored – highlighting just how dangerous he can be in the final third. Many Liverpool fans went wild on Twitter when reacting to the claim from McGarry, with the majority claiming it would be the perfect signing for the Reds, urging the club to get a deal completed as soon as possible.

I think he'd be perfect at LFC — has the pace and technical ability to play on either wing or as a Bobby replacement.
