A number of Liverpool fans enjoyed a remark from manager Jurgen Klopp in a video of the first team squad’s online yoga session, as shared by @LFC on Twitter.

With the players continuing to train at home during the UK’s lockdown, the Reds undertook a communal yoga session via Zoom this morning and those who took part enjoyed plenty of good-natured banter that peaked following an exchange between Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The latter reached the final of the ePremier League Invitational FIFA 20 tournament over the weekend but was beaten in the decider by Diogo Jota of Wolves. After the topic was brought up by Klopp, Oxlade-Chamberlain taunted his team-mate for not selecting him in the Liverpool team that played in the virtual final. The exchange ended in style when Klopp gave an instruction to rehabilitation fitness coach Dave Rydings, telling him “Dave, mute them, enough!” before breaking into laughter.

That punchline went down a treat with these Liverpool fans on Twitter:
