A rumoured Liverpool third kit design on social media has prompted polarised reactions among some of the club’s fan base.
Twitter channel Anything Liverpool (@AnythingLFC_) shared an image of a design which they claim to be a potential third kit for next season, a predominantly yellow shirt with red trim below the neck and at the end of the sleeves.

The shirt includes the full Nike logo, with the sportswear brand replacing New Balance as the Reds’ kit supplier from June, and also incorporates a shadowed, enlarged Liverpool crest over most of the front left portion of the shirt. Six stars above the standard-sized crest, a homage to the club’s number of European Cup triumphs, is another rumoured feature.
The latest Anfield kit rumour for the 2020/21 season comes just days after Footy Headlines publicised a potential design for the home kit, one which elicited unfavourable first impressions from some Liverpool supporters.
These Reds fans on Twitter were split between approving and deriding the rumoured yellow third kit posted by @AnythingLFC_:
Love it the yellow shirt reminds me of when Paul Walsh played ?
