Paris Saint-Germain will have to stump up €75million or more if they want to sign Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho next summer, according to Le10 Sport.

In what they say is an “exclusive” report, the French publication say PSG had a €25million offer turned down before the Euros last summer for the Brazilian but the French club have been persistent in their pursuit of the 24 year old, leaving the Reds to state “a base price to start negotiations.”

The determination to sign Coutinho by CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi is clear, according to Le10 Sport. Last summer the French champions’ real ambition was to sign Neymar from Barcelona but after the Brazilian superstar signed a new deal to stay at the Camp Nou, their full attention has switched to Coutinho.

The French tabloid believe Al-Khelaifi will not let go of buying Coutinho very easily so it looks like the Reds will need to get a move on to persuade the Liverpool star to sign a new deal before the summer.
