Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would be wise to ring the changes for his team’s clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Two regulars are already expected to miss the game through injury, with left back Andrew Robertson and attacker Mohamed Salah not thought to have recovered from their ankle injuries over the international break.

They look set to miss out, while centre back Dejan Lovren and midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum must also drop out. James Milner, Divock Origi, Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should replace them.

Those should be the four changes the German makes for the Eagles contest, and would likely be enough for the Reds to destroy Roy Hodgson’s side.

There’s no arguing that Liverpool are a better team when number one goalkeeper Alisson is in the line-up. With that said, the Brazil international must start on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold is the undisputed starter at right back, and there’s no way that should change here. Versatile midfielder Milner is likely to fill in for Robertson at left back, too.

Lovren has been getting the nod alongside Virgil van Dijk with Joel Matip out recently. However, it’s Englishman Gomez who should partner the Dutch skipper at the heart of the defence against the Eagles.

Fabinho absolutely has to start in his normal holding midfield role. Meanwhile, the England duo of Jordan Henderson and the in-form Oxlade-Chamberlain must start slightly further forward.

As mentioned, Origi is almost certain to replace Salah in the front three. Alongside him, though, it will likely be business as usual. Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino should start once again.
