Liverpool have joined the hunt to sign goalkeeper Berke Ozer from Turkish club Altinordu, according to Fanatik.

The Turkish news outlet claims that the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Hertha Berlin have the 18-year-old on their radar.

However, it is understood that rivals Fenerbahce are already in talks for the Turkey youth international and a £2.6million offer could be on the table.

Good move for Liverpool?

Ozer is clearly an in-demand shot-stopper for a reason and is being tipped to have a huge future in the game, which is why some of Europe’s elite clubs are circling for him.

He is yet to really make an impression at a top level and would link up with Liverpool’s youth side if he did make the switch to Anfield.

However, snapping him up now when he will still cost a low price could make sense and he is very much an investment for the future.

Liverpool fans will also be desperate to hear some positive news with regards to signing a senior option in goal, where both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet need replacing ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Likely to happen?

It seems like Liverpool are unlikely to snap up the rising star and Turkish giants Fenerbahce are surely in pole position with talks already underway.
